Ron Blank & Associates, Inc.

From our humble beginnings that were sketched out on Ron Blank's mother's kitchen table, a vision was conceptualized for connecting architects and building product manufacturers in a way that had not been done before. Since that moment, RBA has strategically evolved into a multi-platformed suite of services for building product manufacturers and design professionals that aim to connect, educate and energize the professional goals of those who engage them.

  • Course description: Ron Blank & Associates: Cable Railing Basics: Designing a Code Compliant Guard Rail

When designing any guard rail, there are a variety options to choose from, including the type of framing, infill material, cable, glass, wood or metal designs. Today’s guard rail systems and solutions must provide strength, durability and design flexibility. We’ll review the proper type of cable, proper railing frame designs to work with tensioned cables, different cable mounting and tension fittings necessary for proper installation, and how to specify cable railing for your next project.
