    Develop a basic understanding of fire test requirements and processes for obtaining ratings on fire rated doors and frames. Become familiar with the hardware requirements, as well as the various fire rated door and frame applications including requirements for glazing, transoms and other components.


    List the fire test requirements, processes and procedures for obtaining ratings on fire rated doors and frames.

    Explain the hardware requirements and configurations for use in fire rated doors and frames.

    Describe fire door classifications, listings, labels, and certifications.

    Explain the various fire rated door and frame applications including requirements for glazing, transoms and other components.
