Course Description: CEU Events: Accessibility in Commercial Plumbing

This CEU course will provide the history surrounding the American Disabilities Act (ADA) & Canadian Accessibility laws and standards for accessible compliance, discuss universal design principles as well as current and existing and emerging plumbing technologies that support the Accessibility standards.

Describe how the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Accessible Canada Act have evolved since inception and explain how each protects people with disabilities in commercial settings.
Understand how the current Standards for Accessible Design apply to plumbing and related products.
Explore universal design principles as they apply to plumbing and associated products.
Discuss existing and emerging plumbing technologies that support the Accessibility standards.
