  • Course Description: Ron Blank & Associates: Enduring Performance: PVF Type II Wallcovering

    Preserve the aesthetics of interior design with PVF wallcovering that provides unparalleled protection. Join us for this one-hour course on the benefits of Polyvinyl Fluoride Film (PVF) wallcovering for commercial applications. Participants will appraise PVF wallcovering designed for high traffic spaces such as: casinos, food service, hospitals, hospitality, multi-family, retail, and healthcare settings. In this course, participants will evaluate wall covering developed to protect against occupant use while also providing optimal hygienic properties that create an inhospitable environment for microbes, germs, mold and mildew. Preserving the integrity of project design, PVF wallcovering is cost effective, long lasting and durable, withstanding revolving occupant use. Throughout the scope and sequence of this course, participants will enhance their understanding of the nuances of protective wall coverings that set the standard for architectural specification in project design.


    Evaluate the distinctive properties of polyvinyl fluoride film (PVF) wallcovering, including its mechanical strength, chemical resistance, permeability and endurance in site-specific applications.

    Classify the physical and chemical impacts of PVF Wallcovering to analyze the advantages, health and performance of the product for architectural specification in commercial applications.

    Identify the standards and testing that inform the design and development of PVF wall covering that ensure the safety and wellness of the product.
